Job Description:

Our client is a boutique Law Firm located in Melville, New York focusing on the areas of Business, Corporate & Real Estate Law, Commercial Litigation, Trusts & Estates, and Employment LawDue to growth, they seek someone with at least 5+ years' experience in Corporate Business Transactions and Commercial Real Estate to work full-time in the office right off the Rt-110 Corridor. Main Responsibilities:

• Be a rainmaker to bring in new business/cases (marketing and networking to obtain your new clients)
• Meet with clients, communicate with adversaries, negotiate, and draft various types of business contracts
• Provide partners with support for their matters, operating in a team environment
• Review and negotiate various types of business agreements, commercial real estate leases, and financing documents and conduct closingsMain Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree plus admission to the NY State bar
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate matters. Experience with employment law and commercial litigation is a plus
  • Excellent writing, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills, plus outstanding client communication and management skills
  • Eager to be involved in business development with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Portable business and a business background are preferredSalary is 125K -150K plus origination of new business. (10-15%) and bonus eligible.
