The Opportunity:

The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for the direction of employees and resources to perform duties associated with field service operations including tank cleaning, equipment & facility decontamination and emergency response.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Responsible for the cost-effective coordination and direction of field personnel and equipment to complete assigned field service projects and emergency response.
    • Responsible for acquiring the appropriate equipment through authorized means
    • Create the daily schedule with an accurate run rate
    • Ensure all rolling stock equipment is properly permitted and maintained for operation
    • Direct field personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments
    • Understand the manpower and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency response
    • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • Knowledge of Clean Harbor Field Services
      • 3+ years' experience in environmental field service operations
      • Adaptable to change and ability to streamline project work
      • Knowledge of various types of equipment
      • Proficiency in Windows based applications
      • Ability to understand issues and resolve/address strategically
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations as well as Clean Harbors policies and procedures related to field operations
      • Strong customer management/customer service skills
      • Per respirator requirements, must maintain a clean-shaven face
